Hello, my name is Juan and I am Carmella’s son. My mom suffered a severe stroke due to a brain hemorrhage that left her in a coma. The damage my mom’s brain sustained was irreversible and her chances of recovery were very slim with her best case scenario being that she would have to live a life she wouldn’t be happy with. My sister and I ultimately had to make the toughest decision of our lives, which was to let her pass peacefully. My mom was 51 years young, and living a perfectly normal and functioning life up until the incident.

With that being said we are not emotionally or financially prepared for this loss as it was so sudden and unexpected. All funds raised will go to my mom’s services. We appreciate any and all help we can get and if you can’t afford to help financially that’s okay, it would mean a lot just to have this fundraiser shared.
