This past weekend, a good friend of ours, Carla Werling, was injured while turning her horses out.  She ended up needing a total hip replacement and will be in the hospital and rehab for an extended period of time.  

Carla takes in needy and neglected horses and various other homeless animals.  She is currently the sole provider for 6 horses, 5 dogs, 4 goats, 2 pigs, 1 sheep, cats, ducks and chickens. 

Carla is retired and has no help - so we are scrambling to feed, clean and care for these animals.  We would like to raise enough money to hire someone to help with barn chores until Carla is on her feet again.  She will also need to buy hay, feed and bedding - so any amount of money or time that you could donate would be greatly appreciated!
