Early in my pregnancy last year (2014), we discovered that our daughter, Kadlin, has a very rare chromosome disorder. We have no idea as to her actual life span will be but, each and every day we have with her is a beautiful privilege as she was only expected to live for a few hours after birth.  

Kadlin has complex medical requirements to maintain a good quality life. She has several internal and external malformations, many of which will involve surgery over the next few years. She is also missing some internal organs and needs frequent monitoring to make sure what she does have is functioning properly. She currently has multiple monthly appointments at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah, an almost 3 hour trip each direction, as well as weekly local appointments.
