The loss of our beloved wife and mother Marni Sanders to a three year battle with metastatic breast cancer was obviously devastating for us. We were glad to receive all the help and support offered by family and friends in this trying time.

Thanks to decades of hard work, frugal living, and planing, we are not in any imminent financial danger. I was initially very resistant to the idea of accepting donations at all, but I’ve realized that it is a way for those who may not be able to physically help on a day-to-day basis to contribute and be involved in our lives.

Raising two children on one income in Los Angeles is challenging, and my major atypical expenses are continuing the therapy we started for the kids a year ago, and continuing the activities that keep their minds and bodies occupied and challenged. Travel to keep them in touch with family is another goal. Ella’s genetic disease, Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, also comes with expenses and struggles.

So I’d like anyone donating to know that their funds will go towards those needs.
