Introducing the Full Circle Performing Arts Center:

A Home for Our Girls. A Legacy for Our Community.

Five years ago, Black Girls Dance® began with 45 girls dancing in a church basement. Today, we are serving over 200 students with world-class training, performance opportunities, and a space where Black girls are seen, celebrated, and poured into.

All donations made through this page are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

And now — we officially have site control of a permanent home.

The Full Circle Performing Arts Center is a 17,830 sq. ft. facility that will anchor our mission for generations. This building allows us to expand the artistic excellence our girls already receive while building a sustainable hub for creativity, wellness, and community learning on the South Side of Chicago.

Why We’re Raising Funds Now

Before we can open the doors, we must complete essential first-phase renovations so the space can safely support:

Four state-of-the-art dance studios with sprung floors

A wellness kitchen for nutrition education

Music and acting rooms to expand our performing arts programming

A 450 seat Auditorium for performances and community events

Our Immediate Goal: $50,000

This represents our first milestone toward activating the building — including a new roof and HVAC system, safety upgrades, and preparing our initial studio build-out.

Larger gifts and additional fundraising (including major-donor conversations and public funding requests) will support the long-term capital needs, but this first $50K allows us to begin.
