Cancer Ends Careers

My brother, Carl was diagnosed with Advanced throat cancer in The of Fall 2017 He has endured the strongest Chemo therapy and radiation available. He had high hopes of returning back to work for the North American Auto Show in Detroit this past January, but has not regained his strength in his legs even though he does physical therapy and goes to the gym everyday.
Carl has been a union IATSE high steel rigger for his entire career, which means he climbs high and hangs from the steel high beams to do his dangerous job. The cancer treatments have deteriorated his muscles and he struggles doing daily tasks.
Carl will probably never regain enough strength to climb safely to do the job he loves or any strenuous job as a stage hand.
His medical bills are astronomical not to mention his mortgage and living expenses have become overwhelming.
Any funds you can spare to help my big brother out during this trying time would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any contribution you can manage to help Carl through this tough transition.
In solidarity,
Sister Diane Howard
