It seems like we can't ever make it through the Holidays without tragedy touching the lives of someone we know, without scrolling through our Facebook feeds, and at least once, reading a story that touches so close to home that it breaks our hearts and brings tears to our eyes.
This year, the tragedy is a little more personal for me. We lost our littlest family member this morning, Cali Jean Matthews.
Cali was just over 4 months old and leaves behind her big sister Lyla, brother Cole, and her parents, Stephanie and Brian Matthews.
In the spirit of Christmas, I would like to bring a little love and peace to this family. My hope is to raise enough money to ease the burden of Cali's funeral expenses so her parents can focus on their other 2 kids during this difficult time.
