Cain Marquez Memorial Fund

Cain Marquez lost his long hard fought battle with cancer last night.  He had a huge heart and lived for his wife, Maria, and their children, Haylee and Bailian.  Cain endured countless surgeries and procedures over the years motivated by having another day to spend with his loving family.  Cain loved his children more than anything in the world and would prep himself during the week with hospital stays, treatments, IVs, etc. so he could see Haylee play soccer on the weekends. He even checked himself out of the hospital against doctor’s orders to watch her play (on more than one occasion)!  Haylee and Bailian gave Cain so much joy that he wanted to spend every minute of his time on earth watching them do what they love.  It was what gave him strength to fight his horrible battle with cancer and gave him his purpose for living.

Cain was a devoted family man and business owner.  As his health began to deteriorate, he could no longer work.  His dedicated wife, Maria, has spent the past few years providing total around the clock care for Cain.  They also have the support of his sister and mother who have moved into their home to assist the family.  Maria has carried the weight of the world on her shoulders as the caretaker of the children, nurse to her husband, housekeeper, excellent cook, chauffer to numerous doctors’ visits all while remaining positive and so strong.  Please help show your support by providing what you can to this grateful and loving family during this most difficult time.
