Dustin Miller

We are creating this as a way for loved ones to support us during a difficult time. Lyra's dad Dustin recently passed away after a long battle with the complications of diabetes. Dustin lived a simple life managing his declining health, so we are looking for some financial help to ease our burdens at this time. This would cover his cremation costs, and a place for his belongings for a short period of time so that Lyra has some time to process this loss.

Dustin was a loving father to Lyra. She was his whole world and his face lit up with joy when he spoke about her. He called her Little Miss from day one, which eventually just became "Misses". They enjoyed lunch dates, going to see scary movies together, long talks on the phone about everything from video games to collectibles to horses, and shared so much in common. Anything Lyra loved, Dustin did too.

I know that he would want to be remembered this way. Being her dad was his favorite thing.

So many people have asked if they can help and this seemed the best way to allow people to support Lyra and the loved ones Dustin leaves behind. We know that he would want us to love harder through this and not worry about the details so that is what we are determined to do.
