Oakley's Vet Bills

Hi, my name is Erika, and I am Oakley's favorite (and only) aunt! On Tuesday morning, the unimaginable happened, Oakley escaped her collar and was struck by a car. Oakley was rushed to the vet as she sustained substantial injuries, including some broken ribs and fluid around her lungs. Oakley has been under constant care and on Wednesday, had a chest tube put in to help drain the fluid around her lungs.

 

Oakley is the happiest of dogs; anyone that has met Oakley knows how special she is and how much she means to our family. Mallory and our family are heartbroken and hope you will keep Oakley and Mallory in your thoughts and prayers. This was a freak accident and one that Mallory was not anticipating financially.
