Donate to Help Ukraine

Hi, my name is Mila and together with my husband Sergey, we are fundraising to help support our family and friends in Ukraine who are fighting for their lives, peace and freedom in Ukraine. We were both born and raised in Ukraine. Watching the country we love and hold so close to our hearts under attack is unimaginable. We have had family and friends actively fighting reach out to us in need of medical tourniquets, support to buy food, supplies, tools etc. We are doing our best to support them, but in times like these it requires us to all come together to make a bigger impact.

This is NOT a donation to a centralized charity fund; we ONLY work with targeted shipments of supplies, equipment and tools to the particular friends in Kyiv Sergey grew up with. Sergey personally knows the recipients, and all people involved with transporting goods are either his friends or people with direct (and very high) recommendations from his friends. NOTHING is being lost or stolen, EVERYTHING sent goes to the destination and is hand delivered. Everyone involved is a Ukrainian patriot, no outsourcing.

We all heard the expression 'time is money'. Unfortunately, now it means 'time is lives'. Our objective is to act faster than a charity organization, and to send EXACTLY what is needed to the people who asked for it. We are capable of sending conventional shipping boxes and also have connections to send large shipments via hubs that are operated by close friends (they are shipping cars and trucks to Ukraine). Again, unfortunately, we can't send directly to Ukraine in a timely manner. We ship to a relative in Poland, and then the shipments are being hand delivered to Ukraine by other volunteers (friends or highly recommended people). We only pay shipping fees to Poland, the rest is handled for free. Volunteers are only asking for gas money, but they do not insist. Even if we pay nothing, they will still drive their cars and trucks from Rzeszow, Poland to Kyiv, Ukraine, and will be happy to do so.

We are starting low with a $5,000 target. My co-workers asked me to set up a GoFundMe page so they could spread the info. As of today, we have requests exceeding $15k worth of supplies. Most wanted items are medical supplies (tourniquets, first aid kits), outdoor clothing, non-perishable food.

We hope to be able to manage these projects soon. Our wish is that we could send Ukranians immediate peace; however, the best we can do is to provide as much humanitarian aid as we can at this point. We have always been pacifists; however, this unthinkable attack on our homeland has shown that we must support those fighting for their lives, the people of Ukraine, and the beautiful country that we love and that we WILL visit again.
