Preston is a rising 7th grader at Mabry Middle School and a part of the Lassiter Jr. Trojan Football program. On Monday, June 23, he was using the crosswalk in front of Davis Elementary School and was struck by a truck. He was taken to a local hospital and then airlifted to CHOA. He sustained numerous injuries including a fractured femur and tibia in one leg and a fractured knee in the other, bruised lungs, torn aorta, and lacerations on his liver. He is in the ICU and will have several surgeries in the near future. During this time, his parents will be out of work and with him. The funds raised will be used to cover household expenses and bills while they aren't working. If you see fit, please consider helping this family during this time of need.
