Sam Bleier-US Judo Athlete
Donation protected
I'm Samantha (Sam) Bleier, a self-funded U.S. Judo Athlete competing internationally for a place in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro. This is my second run for the Games, after breaking my foot during practice before the 2011 World Judo Championships in Paris, France. Since recovering, I've been to fifteen competitions in several countries. Most recently, I competed within the United States at the 50th Annual Dallas Invitational, where I took first place in my weight division. Before May 1st, 2016, I need to travel and compete in several countries in order to make my way to the top 14 in the under 70 kilos Women as ranked by the International Judo Foundation.
As a self-funded athlete, I have to work to support my trips and Olympic dreams. Due to healthcare laws, I can only work part-time which stretches my finances further as I compete world wide. Every donation goes to support my travels and helps fund the opportunity to bring a dream to life. If you know me personally, and prefer to, feel free to talk to me about donating face to face. Thank you for considering and thank you for every contribution!
