When Hurrican Florence made landfall in Emerald Isle, Dave had evactuated and was thankfully safe and unhurt. Unfortunatly the same can not be said of his home. After sustaining nearly 100 MPH winds and over 30 inches of rain over a 72 hour period, the roof of his home was breached allowing the water to come directly in. The home will be a total loss. Because of the nature of the home and it's position to the water it was only insurable for 50% of the value, leaving Dave with a signifigant amount of money to cover to rebuild.
Although we know first hand that Dave is not the only case like this, we would love to see some people looking for a way to help the victims of Florence, help Dave.
