Baby Finn ♥️ Mama Nichola

Hi, my name is Kristin & for those of you that don’t know me, I am Nichola’s sister. On 3/31, Nichola went into premature labor at 27 wks 3 days pregnant with baby Finn & after many rounds of various medications and attempts to stop labor, she ended up giving birth to Finn on 4/2 via an emergency C-Section.
Baby Finn was immediately taken to the NICU weighing 2lbs 7 oz. Nichola was initially taken to the ICU and then happily transferred to Labor & Delivery. At the time of me writing this, Nichola is currently back in the ICU due to an extremely low hemoglobin count and is receiving blood transfusions.
Later tonight we should have more updates on Finn as they have been running many tests on him. Earlier this morning, he had his breathing tube removed and now has a CPAP machine to help him breathe, which is amazing & we’re so thankful for this progress!
Nichola’s biggest prayer right now is that she’ll be able to move back to L&D from ICU because she hasn’t been able to meet her sweet boy and once she’s in L&D, she’ll be able to meet him in the NICU.
As things evolve and we learn more and more about both of their heath statuses, we know that their needs will be great both while in the hospital and once they get home. In addition to asking for ALL the prayers, we have started this GoFundMe in anticipation of medical bills, medications, ongoing therapy for Finn & time off from work for both Nichola and Jarrett. Please check back for updates as I will post them here as I get them ♥️
