We are creating this fundraiser to raise money to assist black-owned small businesses and grassroots projects in the UK.
Economic empowerment is a fundamental key to success. We believe Ownership +Knowledge = Change.
By directly empowering black-owned businesses and grassroots projects here in the UK,
we will create a sustainable and self- sufficient ecosystem which will enrich the lives and wellbeing of our community.
Funds raised will support ongoing under-resourced Black-led initiatives and also create new initiatives such as Building The Black Wall Street UK:
*Black Businesses
*Black Legal Funds : (OCAAT)
*Counselling Services
*Black History Classes on evenings and weekends
*Black Publishing Company: to produce more black authors and literature
*Recruitment company
*Supporting Black Creatives
*Community Safe Spaces
*Food and Basic Necessity Programs
*Fund university or professional development courses for individuals
*Support families in need after the loss of a family member.
*Future protest and demonstration with supplies

What’s Next:
1)Once we reach our goal, we will begin to distribute between the different organisations.
2) The newly set up committee will research into other projects, people and businesses to support.
3) We will post the email receipts from each organisation as an update on this page and on our Instagram account as proof of donation.
4) We will continue to do our checks and balances with our recipients and promote them online.
5) Provide a centralised system for others to gain help and support whether that’s financial or information.
