Assalamoalikum, my name Jawad Syedain, I am raising funds for a Imam Bargah , a mosque and school in

Sehpora magam district budgam Jammu and Kashmir, India

The village has a population of about 3000 men, women, young adults and children most of the men are day-labor, working in constructions and labor related gigs.

80 to 90% of the village is illiterate, they do not know how to read or write.

They do not have public schools, they are a minority Shia Muslim village in Indian controlled Kashmir.

Maulana Syed Mohammad Baqir is a scholar studied in Qom Iran, who along with his family are moving to this village to serve this community.

Syed Baqir will teach basic reading, writing and fundamentals of the religion under Quran and the teachings of Ahlulbayt as

His wife who also studied in Qom, will teach girls and women similar subjects

Further about the community: in the past two years due to the pandemic the economic conditions in this village are dire, they have an incomplete building without a roof that they use for Majalis and Aza dari

without electricity or even tabarruk or nazar. This community is extremely poor.

They need about $10,000 for the roof , hall for women, separate bathrooms, flooring, windows, electrical wiring and interior finish (walls and paint)
