Hi, I'm Ali Zuccato — endometriosis patient, mom, and the developer behind EndoBuddy.
I live with endometriosis and an 8cm endometrioma (a "chocolate cyst") on my left ovary. I know firsthand what it's like to have your pain dismissed, minimized, and misdiagnosed. But I was one of the lucky ones — I got diagnosed just over a year after my symptoms began.
Most women wait 7 to 10 years.
Not because endometriosis is rare. 1 in 10 menstruating people has it. The delay happens because women are taught that pain is just part of being a woman. It also happens because endo disguises itself — mimicking IBS, UTIs, and other conditions — so doctors treat symptoms in isolation instead of seeing the full picture.
I built EndoBuddy to change that.
EndoBuddy is a symptom and cycle tracking app designed specifically for endometriosis. Users log their pain levels, symptoms, flow, and remedies daily. After just a few cycles, the app generates a clinician-ready report that gives doctors the full picture — symptoms mapped to cycle phases, pain trends over time, and pattern analysis — so they can connect the dots that lead to a diagnosis.
The app also includes:
✦ A phase-aware home screen that adapts to where you are in your cycle
✦ AI-driven pattern recognition that surfaces correlations you might not notice on your own
✦ A wellness library with anti-inflammatory meal plans and phase-specific movement guidance (because endo is an inflammatory immune disease, and what we eat and how we move genuinely matters)
✦ A Comfort Mode that activates automatically on high-pain days
✦ A clinic portal so healthcare providers can view patient data directly
Here's what makes this different from every other period tracker out there: EndoBuddy isn't built to tell you when your next period is coming. It's built to get you believed.
The app already exists. I've been building it, and the core functionality is done. What I need now is funding to cross the finish line — fast.
Your donation will go toward:
→ A professional development platform upgrade to accelerate the final build
→ A domain and branded email accounts
→ App Store submission fees
→ Initial promotion to get it into the hands of the people who need it most
Every dollar brings this app one step closer to the woman sitting in a doctor's office right now, being told her pain is normal.
It's not normal. And she deserves proof.
Please help me get EndoBuddy into the world. Thank you.
