I'm turning 50!!!!!!! I am entering this half a century with excitement and gratitude for all that life has blessed me with.

For my birthday, I am asking for you to join me in putting on a big bash to raise money for the organization From Houses to Homes, in Guatemala. I have volunteered with this amazing organization since 2012 and in the most recent trips have taken teams of teachers to build homes for deserving families.

Over a 5 day period, volunteers build concrete homes for families living without structures to protect them from the elements. You build side by side with the family who is being given the house and also alongside amazing Guatemalan builders. The poverty in the areas that we build is heart breaking. Many without running water and access to our basic necessities.

This organization supports the community at large. They provide food and schooling to many in the community as well.

I have so much in my life. For my birthday, please consider making a donation to From Houses to Homes so that we can possibly build a house for another deserving family.
