Buddy's Hip Surgery

For those who may not know our Buddy, he is such a good boy and a special part of our family! We rescued him last February from a local shelter when he was a couple months old and immediately fell in love with him.  He is just the best dog and has brought so much happiness to our lives.  After noticing his strange gait, limping, and even some whimpering due to pain, we discovered that Buddy has severe hip dysplasia and is in moderate to severe pain. His favorite things used to be catching the frisbee, going on hikes, and chasing Daniel around the house, and he is not able to do these things anymore. At only 14 months old, he should be in prime puppy phase running and playing all the time, and is just not able to do this.  This breaks our heart as he is such a sweet, happy dog that loves everyone and deserves the very best life.
We have been told that Buddy needs hip surgery which can help to give him a new lease on life. Unfortunately, the surgery costs around $6000 and will need to happen soon. We need your help! Buddy is a part of our family and we are struggling to come up with this amount so quickly. Any donation, big or small, will help.
