Our dear friends Kathy and Gabe Lloyd's sweet son, Ian, had a tragic accident this past week. He received 2nd degree burns on 25% of his tiny body. Kathy has been, and will be, with Ian for weeks at The Shriners Hospital in Boston.
There is no good time for an accident like this but this time is worse than any other. Kathy and Gabe have an amazing start-up business called 'How We Roll'. They make the most delicious egg rolls filled with gourmet organic local ingredients. They even appeared on 'Live with Kelly and Michael' last year in the their food truck competition, where they made it to the semi-finals. It is a seasonal business that depends solely on these three months of summer. Due to the fact that Kathy is Boston with Ian they've had to cancel half of their engagements.
This finanacial hardship on top of medical bills, travel expenses, and lodging in Boston is astronomical. Devastating.
Anyone who knows Kathy and Gabe knows how deeply they feel about the community, and what great citizens they are. We are creating this campaign to help them during this hard time. We've set the goal at 10k but know that the amount of money needed is much greater than that. Please do what you can and pass this on to everyone you know! Please help us to get Ian well, and give peace of mind to Kathy and Gabe.
