UPDATE

It is with great sadness that we share with you that our mother, sister, wife, daughter, grandmother and beautiful friend, Jo-Anne Landmesser Hammond Simpson passed away at the age of 53 after a hard fought battle with cancer.

Jo-Anne, who was a source of great strength for many, fought hard and never gave up. Always concerned with others, her last requests were that we take care of her children and grandchildren. We thank you for all the kind words and help that people ...provided as Jo-Anne battled with cancer.

Jo-Anne never failed to lend a hand to help others in need even though she never asked for help herself. In her battle these last years, even though she was insured, she has amassed a tremendous amount of debt. If you are able, please help. Whatever is remaining will be placed in a trust for her grandchildren.

Arrangements are being made and will be posted later today. We ask that you post a memory, a favorite story or a photo so that we can all remember this special woman.
