Brooklyn Hays - Thank you

Hi, my name is Seth and I am setting up this fundraiser for my daughter, Brooklyn. Brooklyn is attending Augsburg university in Minnesota as a wrestler. She has been a part of the world team as an alternate and trained at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado. Even as a little girl Brooklyn worked hard and saved her money for college. She is very frugal and disciplined using available resources, such as the campus cupboard to stretch every dollar she has. On Feb 1st 2023 Brooklyn was contacted by a person on social media to use a picture of hers for a mural painting. Brooklyn agreed and the person said they were willing to pay her for it. However when they deposited money into her account it was too much and they asked her to pay back through Venmo. She did, only to have the initial transaction cancelled. She didn’t understand about waiting for money to clear and ended up losing all of her saving and now owes the bank money. We tried calling the bank, but there is nothing they can do. Brooklyn is crushed. We are looking for funds to help bring Brooklyn’s bank account back to zero and appreciate any help.
