Brooke's Battle Against Cancer

Brooke marie Allison  is a beautiful 3 year old girl who on December 5th, 2016 was diagnosed with stage 3 neuroblastoma  cancer (high risk).   This all started in the summer when Brooke would get crippling stomache aches, after several trips to local emergency rooms they all said the same thing...constipation.     We followed all of the doctors orders time and time again, only for Brooke to get worse and worse.  Finally in November Brooke became deathly ill and we knew it was something more.  so a couple days after thanksgiving we decided enough was enough and we brought Brooke to Childrens hospital emergency department.   On Deceember 4th 2016 The doctors at Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis MN found a large mass in Brookes abdonminal area  in a matter of 5 minutes, it was then that our worste nightmare would become our everyday reality...our daughter has Cancer.   From that moment on it's been a whirlwind of information, hospital treatments, chemo, and watching our daughter look death in the face and feeling helpless because we cant save her...we cant take her place...we can only do what the doctors tell us to do, and pray to god that he guides them to make all the right choices.   Over the next year Brooke will battle  cancer by doing an extremley aggresive treatment  plan.  Brooke will have  be admitted into the hospital for chemo for 5 days at a time, home for 15 days, then so on and so forth for the next year.  Brookes treatment is very aggressive as she does 2 types of chemo back to back, then down the road we will be going to the U of M for stem cell treatments.   During this time  we are reaching out to the community, to friends, and family for your help!!  The financial burden of this life changing and devestating  disease are extreme.   The money that's raised will go towards everything from medical expenses to housing needs as this has put work on the temporary back burner as we spend a majority of our time at the hospital and when we're home, brooke has a  large amount of needs, and home cares that add up the costs to.  We appreciate anything you can do to help us in our time of need.    You can follow Brookes journey on  facebook on "Brookes Battle".
