I have recently been accepted as a student at the Ramp School of Ministry (RSM) in Hamilton, AL. I moved to Hamilton at the end of 2014. I felt the Lord leading me to Hamilton but I wasn’t sure what He had planned for me. This year has been crazy so far. The Lord has provided for me in the most unexpected ways. I have learned a lot about myself as I am living on my own for the first time. The Lord has also been teaching me so much about relying on Him and trusting Him for my every need.

In 2011, I went to a youth conference at the Ramp for the first time. I knew then that I wanted to connect with the Ramp one day. I prayed about doing their ministry school (RSM) multiple times over the last few years but never felt that it was the right timing. Through an exciting and unexpected line of events and confirmations from the Lord, last year the Lord called me to make a move of faith to live in Hamilton, AL. Even though I needed a job and a place to live, I said “Yes!” to whatever the Lord had planned and He was so faithful to provide. The way things have played out didn’t look like what I had expected, but God knew exactly what I needed and I wouldn’t change a thing.

Up until recently, I hadn’t planned to apply for RSM. But one day, I heard the Lord say it was time! I was so excited and a little shocked honestly because I’ve prayed about it for so long that I didn’t think I would ever actually do it. I figured it was one of those things that I wanted but God had something different planned, so I had given up on the idea. It’s a little embarrassing to admit, but I learned He wanted me to trust Him and be patient in His timing.

I’d like to tell you a little about RSM so that you’re familiar with the type of atmosphere I will be immersed in as an RSM student. The Ramp’s desire is to see God’s presence awaken and overtake a generation. RSM began in order to train and equip students for the task of revival and awakening. The school exists to prepare a generation for their God-ordained purpose by sharpening the raw potential inside them, developing depths of character, integrity, and honor and introducing them to a burning, passionate way of life. RSM offers majors in particular ministry areas such Pastoral Leadership, Music, Missions and Performing Arts. I feel like the Lord is calling me to do Pastoral Leadership. I will also be doing a minor in Performing Arts. Check out the Ramp School of Ministry at http://theramp.org/school

RSM is an intense two-year program in which I will be attending daily classes, and services throughout the week. I will also be gaining hands on experience with volunteer hours each week and helping with conferences, which are held multiple times a year. The standards set for the students in RSM create a place to fully devote everything to God while learning and growing at an accelerated pace. That is what I am looking forward to so much about RSM. I am ready to go deeper with the Lord and be launched into my calling and purpose.

When I received my acceptance letter I started praying about raising the financial support I would need to attend both years at RSM. To be honest, I was a little taken back with how much I need to raise. I’ve never raised support for a program like this. But when I prayed about it, I knew the Lord was not offended at the amount nor was He intimidated by it. The financial need is great, but I am standing on the promise of Matthew 6:33, “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” He is always faithful to complete His word, and I know He will make a way for me to do what He is calling me to.

At the age of 10 I knew the Lord had set me apart for a unique ministry. I feel called to speak into the lives of young people all across the nation and to see broken hearts restored, set free and filled with the love of Jesus Christ. I am so excited that the Lord has called me to attend RSM so that I can be trained and equipped to fulfill my calling. Would you prayerfully consider financially supporting me, one time or monthly, to meet my needs as an RSM student?

The cost for my two-year tuition and housing as a student (not including housing for the summer in between) is roughly $15,000. I will continue working part time during school. But, in order to fully cover living expenses such as bills, food and gas money as well as the cost of books, supplies and ministry trips for both years, I am raising an additional $10,000 for a total need of $25,000. My first goal is to raise at least $10,000 by August 12th, 2015.

Thank you so much for the time you have invested into reading my story. I am so grateful for your prayerful consideration to support me as I embark on this new chapter of my life. Any amount, big or small, would be a HUGE blessing.
