In March 2017, our friend JL was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a successful surgery and treatment and things were looking good. Just last week, it was discovered that a large portion of tissue was damaged and would have to be removed after her very powerful radiation treatment. She just came through this surgery yesterday.  On top of this bad news, the family also discovered a broken water pipe at their home. The family has not asked for help, but it has become obvious to many of their friends that the way we can help and show our love is to provide some sort of financial assistance to help them with home repairs and medical expenses. 
JL has faced her cancer with a strength that has amazed us, but through the pain of the past week she is literally at her breaking point.
