In this the season of giving, we ask that you might be so kind as to help our dear friend and mom to be, Angelie.
Angelie is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. She is so hardworking, incredibly giving, and really has a heart of gold. She is forever helping family, friends, and coworkers no matter their ask or need. Never one to complain, Angelie always thinks of others before herself.
Angelie's dreams came true earlier this year when she learned that she and her husband Ivan were expecting their first baby. Her life’s dream come true. She jumped with excitement when she learned that the gender of their baby. A little girl! (See attached video)
Unfortunately at her 20 week scan, Angelie learned the heartbreaking news that her baby girl is suffering from a very rare condition known as Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) and will require major surgery immediately after birth and extensive care in the ICU thereafter with a minimum hospital stay of at least three months.
To help Angelie and Ivan be close to the hospital in SF and spend as much time as possible with their little girl as she recovers from her surgery and alleviate the stress of having a 2 hour commute each way, we are hoping to raise money to rent them a little studio in SF within walking distance to the hospital. Anything else we can gather will go towards the mounting medical expenses.
