Bria's Team USA Switzerland travel fund

Hi, my name is Brianna Rickert and I am fundraising to be able to travel to Switzerland to ski with Team USA Nordic during World University Games. World University Games is ranked second in importance to the Olympics and is many athlete's first steps into an Olympic career. I am so honored to have been picked out of hundreds of athletes to represent the United States of America as well as Western Colorado University. I have been ski racing since age ten and competing on an international stage has been a dream and goal I've been working towards ever since I started skiing. During my skiing career, I have attended and raced at four Junior National Championships around the United States and have raced at hundreds of races to qualify for Junior Nationals. Last year while I was attending Colorado Mesa University I got to experience my first year of collegiate racing and I am so thankful to have been on such a supportive team for my first year of college. I am now at Western Colorado University to pursue Elementary Education and couldn't be more excited to ski in my hometown and be able to represent Western on an international level. Traveling to Switerzland will give me experiences that I would have never been able to gain anywhere else. This opportunity will provide both educational and cultural experiences as well as racing and training experiences that I will carry with me forever. I cannot express how thankful I am to be able to travel with Team USA and represent both the United States and Western Colorado University among hundreds of athletes that represent the highest level of their sport.

Funds raised will go towards; lodging, travel, waxing, uniform, and coaching fees.
