As many of you may have heard, our friend Brian Rekenthaler suffered a catastrophic injury at his home on Sunday July 2nd. 

He is currently at UCI Medical Center in Orange in the intensive care unit.  The injuries to his brain are severe - he has undergone 2 surgeries to date and is in a medically induced coma.  His family have been holding vigil at his bedside around the clock and they continue to update us as the news changes.

Brian's wife and family have been staying in a hotel in order to be near the hospital.  They're grabbing meals (if anyone eats) in the cafeteria.  Their situation currently is stressful.  They are nowhere near the point of dealing with finances.

Brian's medical care is going to be costly.  We're reaching out to his friends - both personal and in the business community.  His family will need our support at this time, and their being taken care of during this incredibly difficult time would mean the world to him.
