Taylor’s Farm_Storm Damage Help
Around 1:30am July 18, 2020 a major wind storm came through Rush City, Minnesota. Our family farm was hit hard. Multiple trees fell on the house, going through the roof and entering the bathroom, a bedroom, and the living room. Some of the debris hit my grandfather on the head, but luckily everyone made it to the basement and nobody was seriously hurt. However two vehicles were totaled, the power line poles snapped, and many trees around the farm are down (including the ones that went through the house).
July 23rd is my 30th birthday and if you would like to celebrate with me please think about donating to my family. They have already been through so much and it will be a difficult and expensive process to rebuild.
As you most likely know there is a fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 fee per donation on GoFundMe. If you have Venmo it’s preferable to send donations through Venmo so that ALL the proceeds go directly to the Taylor family.
The Venmo account is @Camillia-Freeland-Taylor. Please put in the description “Taylor Farm Donation.”
Below are some of the photos of the damage cause to the farm. Thank you for your generous gifts . We are thrilled to have so many people ask us how they can support the Taylor family through this time.
Through your donations we are able to rebuild our home. You truly make the difference for us, and we are extremely grateful!
Thank you,
-Camillia Taylor
