So...we are two mental health care/frontline workers who have been working on the Downtown East Side for over 12 years combined. 

Saturday night, our home was broken into. We came home from dinner to find our entire home torn apart and looked through and taken from.

Things such as a computer and iphone were taken from us as well as some antique and sentimental belongings of which there is no financial payback. 

We both work often more than 40 hours per week working with and for people who have had a rough go of it, and now, we're also having a rough go and humbly asking for some help. 

Outside of trying to reimburse the things that were stolen, we are also looking in the hopes that we can raise enough money for a damage deposit on a new place within the next months.
