Brax Mural RVA

On December 8th 1998, Braxton entered this world exuding purpose, passion, force and divinity. The way she arrived from her mother’s womb, with no additional assistance of medicine, and with nothing additive, laid the foundation for her life. Everything about Braxton’s birth was a euphemism for the totality of her existence.

On her birthday we proudly honor her with the launch of her mural campaign.
Like the icons who inspired her- we aspire to curate physical space that will infinitely serve as a hub for creative inspiration, power and healing. A powerful visual communication tool, mural paintings are globally recognized as a symbol of solidarity, freedom and hope. We pray that this space becomes one where her spirit infinitely resides, a space where her raw, dynamic and complex art infinitely inspires.

This mural will be made possible by the love and collective effort of community. With the goal of raising $20,000 we will transition a huge wall in the center of Brookland Park into a sacred piece of art. This wall has been donated by Da Spot Recording Studio and our muralist is Jason Ford. Unveiling in Spring 2021, we are overwhelmingly grateful for the outpouring of love and know that this project is already blessed by our angel.
