Quenemoen family living expenses

My good friend Troy Quenemoen has late stage multiple myeloma and his doctor has said that he has only weeks remaining. His kids Eli, Emma and Ben are spending as much time as possible with their dad. Diane has taken several weeks off from work already and will remain home on unpaid leave to care for Troy as long as needed.

Diane and Troy would never ask this for themselves, but money is tight right now and Diane is trying to figure out how to pay the mortgage and the other bills without her salary.

I've known this dear family since 2006 when Ben and my son Zach met in kindergarten. My husband had a recurrence of his brain cancer that year and shortly thereafter Troy was diagnosed with cancer. The Quenemoens went out of their way over the years to help my family and support me, especially after the death of my husband in 2010. They are kind, generous, lovely people and money should not be something they have to worry about as they focus on their last days with Troy.

It doesn't take much from each person. If we can spread the word and get enough people to pitch in, we will easily help the Quenemoens with their financial concerns while Troy is in hospice.
