Brandon and BMB to South Africa!

Balsam Mountain Brass, our student brass quintet at Western Carolina University, will be traveling to South Africa! The trip will be from Monday, May 15 to Wednesday, May 24! We will be performing at the local high schools and colleges in Cape Town and Stellenbosch! We will also be teaching masterclasses for the local students and premiering a dual brass quintet piece with the Smoky Mountain Brass Quintet. This will be such an incredible experience for the students of the brass quintet!
Thankfully, we have raised most of the money for this trip. We have received many generous donations, cutting the $2500 bill to around only $800! Our flights have been paid for, but we still need to pay for hotel expenses and food!
