Brandon is 10 years old and was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in October 2015. DMD is a progressive muscle disease for which there is no cure. Since being diagnosed, he has lost his ability to walk, and is confined to a wheelchair.
We are in need of help for ongoing medical bills and expenses such as a new power wheelchair in the near future. The chair Brandon currently has is about a year old, but as his disease progresses he will need a power wheelchair in the next couple of years. He is 100% dependent on us. We have to lift him in and out of bathtub and even on and off the toilet. Eventually, we are going to have to make our house power wheelchair accessible, and he will get to big for us to lift him. We will need to have equipment put to help with that. We will also have to eventually get a vehicle customized to transport the power wheelchair. We are lucky enough to have medical insurance but our part we pay yearly is outrageous. Any contributions will help to improve the quality of life for him and will help ease the financial burden.  Thank you!
