It is with profound sadness that we mourn the sudden loss of our dear friend, Brad Stratton, who died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Sept. 21, 2022. A man of remarkable wit, intelligence, talent, generosity and deep commitment to his family, friends and community, Brad lived a beautiful, full and honorable life, despite being taken from us too soon.

With his big heart, easy laugh, strong work ethic, and prodigious musical abilities, Brad was widely loved and admired by many people, from Maine to Prague to NYC and beyond. His loss will be particularly hard on his two children, son Zachary (16) and daughter Toby (13), and his wife of more than 21 years, Dana Stratton.

Some of you may know that Dana recently began an accelerated program to become a nurse. As she copes with this shock, she will be deciding in the next few weeks if she can continue the program. Not having to worry about dinner will certainly help in that process, so a Meal Train has been established by their neighbor Leecia Manning and can also be a way to show support for their family:
