"Brad 's Wheelchair Won't Fit"
Donation protected
Hey Friends - my step-dad Brad is a good man with a bad disease. Late last year Brad was diagnosed with ALS. He's met the challenge with awe-inspiring bravery and positivity despite the consistent degeneration of his muscles and motor functions.
Likely within a few months, he will be 100% dependent upon his electric wheelchair to move about the house. Unfortunately the house is small (~800 sq feet) and old, and his wheelchair will not fit through the doorways to the bathroom or his bedroom.
We received a quote of around $2,000 from an ADA specialized remodeler in Sand Springs, OK to widen three doorways enough for Brad to pass through in the wheelchair.
If you have the means, anything you can do to help so we can ensure Brad's mobility through this tough period, would be so greatly appreciated! Even the smallest donations will get us closer to completing this critical work.
With much love...
