Books for Hoover Elementary School
This fundraiser is for the library at Hoover Elementary School
in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. All funds will be used to purchase books, which will support
holistic reading experiences for the students at Hoover.
For many students at Hoover, the school library provides their
primary access to literature. The school
also has a large English Language Learner population and reading is an important
part of their English learning experience. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, the library has not been able to purchase new literature, so the money that is raised will
provide the library with more books. This will support the learning for every
student at Hoover Elementary and provide even more opportunities for students to
read.
