Bob's Battle and Healing Journey

Hello all friends and family.

Our family is so grateful for each and every one of you who is here with us during this season of difficulty. This past year, Bob went into the doctor for what everyone assumed was a routine visit for a possible concussion after an accident at work. While at the doctor, it was discovered that there was a mass behind his right eye that needed more looking at. After initial testing and consultation we were informed that the mass was indeed a tumor and that the doctors at the U of M were certain it was cancerous. We swallowed the news as best as we could and waited for consultation in the new year to see what our game of attack was going to be. In the mean time, symptoms from his concussion as well as tumor side effects have kept Bob from being able to drive or do many of the things he loves including his job. We were blessed that the doctors pulled together quickly to come up with a game plan to be able to help. Currently we are waiting for surgery on January 26th in order to remove what is possible of the tumor in Bob's head. During this time, not only is Bob not working, but others in the family are taking time off to take him to appointments and help out when possible. We are asking for help with the incoming medical expenses as well as helping Bob while he is out of work due to his inability to drive. Anything is welcome and every little bit counts. We understand that not everyone will be able to help and that is okay. Please keep the family in your prayers and wish Bob a speedy recovery.
