Brain Surgery Recovery

Hi Everyone,
My name is Manazhia and I am the youngest daughter of Lori Barnhill.
For those who don’t know, my mother has been battling cancer for quite a few years now. She is such a strong woman. It all started out as lung cancer, she went into remission for 2 years and then they found small tumors on her brain. She has been battling stage 2 brain cancer. She has been such a fighter throughout all of this, but recently we received some not so good news. Earlier this week, we went to see her neurologist and got the results of her most recent MRI. One of the tumors has doubled in size within 2.5 months. The doctor insisted that surgery needs to be done in order for her to continue getting better.
She is scheduled for November 30th, 2023 to have the surgery in order for them to remove the tumor. The Dr. said it is about a 4 hour surgery and she should expect to be in the hospital for about 3-4 days. Afterwards, it will be about a 4-6 week recovery period as well as attending physical therapy.
We are asking for support in her recovery, as well as medical bills, transportation expenses and all other necessary expenses. I am the caregiver for her and while she’s recovering I will be taking off time from my job to ensure she gets the care she needs.
