Blue Lives Matter Billboard IS UP!!

Thank you to all who supported and contributed.  The billboard went up yesterday (5 May).  Looks great!

My name is Scott Garland.  I live in Charleston, South Carolina. 

Just like in many other cities, we are having protests and attacks on our Law Enforcement Officers. 

I have been demonstrating my support for them for a couple years now.  I spend some of my free time standing at high traffic areas with a homemade cardboard sign which says “Blue Lives Matter”.  I get wonderful support from my community… many waves, honking and cheers (of course, once in a while I get the opposite reaction).  People seem to really appreciate someone showing this support.  Many people stop to talk and quite a few police officers have stopped to say how much it means to them to see someone who shows appreciation for the sacrifices and danger they experience.

I will be renting a billboard with the Blue Lives Matter symbol (a blue line between two black ones) and those words superimposed on it in May of 2017.  The cost is $800.00 and I am prepared to do this on my own.    

I do want to give people an opportunity to contribute if they desire (thus this page) but...

I am not soliciting donations but I will accept them.  I will do this regardless! 

I will appreciate any positive comments just as much as a donation and will be sure to share them with our men and women in blue.
