My name is Samurai Hanson, founder of Samurai Alliance CIC, a community organisation committed to empowering vulnerable and ethnic minority communities through structure, discipline, resilience, and long-term guidance.

This fundraiser is for someone deeply important to me — my childhood friend, the girl I grew up with, protected, laughed with, and loved like family.

Life took her down a path of trauma, homelessness and addiction, and for years she has been surviving in extreme conditions with very little support around her.

She is now in custody, and for the first time in a long time, she finally has:

• warmth

• food

• sleep

• safety

• and the chance to detox and stabilise away from the streets

She is embracing this as the first phase of her reform — a moment to breathe, reflect, and reclaim her life.

But the real challenge begins when she is released.

Without the right foundation, people are often forced straight back into the same environments that broke them.

We are not going to let that happen to her.

When she comes home, she will need:

• Safe and stable accommodation

• A basic phone + SIM for safety and appointments

• Transport for probation and support services

• A clean restart away from harmful surroundings

She has experienced years of instability and exploitation.

She is not in a position to manage funds herself.
