On December 27, 2024, I moved to Michigan to be with the man I love. We planned to get married and start a life together. Six months later, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. The news devastated us.

We are determined to fight this disease. Bill is dedicated to chemotherapy, even though it wrecks him physically and emotionally. As you can imagine, this fight is taking everything we have.

Due to Bill's condition, I am currently unable to work. Chemo takes him out of commission, and he depends on me to care for him. Right now, we are totally dependent on Bill's fixed income and donations from friends and family.

Thankfully, his cancer treatment is covered by insurance. It is everything else we need help with.

Our inability to afford dental care has left Bill with chronic toothaches, and he is in dire need of dental work. He has also been diagnosed with severe hearing loss, and is in desperate need of hearing aids. Our car needs some repairs to get us safely to and from doctor's appointments. We still want to get married, but we can't afford a ceremony. Even basic daily needs are hard to afford right now.
