Bill and Michele Vorlicek Memorial Costs
My name is Emily Vorlicek (wife of Matthew Vorlicek) and I am the daughter-in-law of Bill and Michele Vorlicek. Bill and Michele were deeply cherished and loved by all whose lives they touched.
I was welcomed into their family over 17 years ago and from the very first day they treated me as though I was their own daughter, showing and teaching me a true love that I had never experienced. They taught me how to love and how to grow as a person. They were there for me through good and bad in a way that not many are and I loved them so very, very dearly that I cannot even begin to describe in words what they meant to me.
They were amazing parents ALWAYS there for their son, Matthew. The bond shared by this family was something one can only dream of having and I'm so very thankful that they warmingly welcomed me and allowed me to be a part of it. The way they loved and cherished their grandchildren was adored by so many and so the bond continued and grew even stronger. I have become the wife/mother I am because I became part of this family and had them to look up to.
On December 9th, 2020 we lost Mom and it was painstakingly heartbreaking. Sadly, due to Covid and Dad's deteriorating health, we were unable to have a memorial in her honor after cremation.
On August 29th, 2021, we then devastatingly lost Bill as well to heart complications. We are trying to finalize end of life arrangements for him and are finding the costs of this to be challenging.
Additionally, we would like to hold a memorial for both of them together. Mom and Dad had been together since 1978 and were married since 1979. They adored one another and always wanted to be together. Because of this, we saw it fitting for them to be laid together but would like to allow all of their loved ones to say their final goodbyes before being buried together at the Veterans Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
The loss of both of them so close together has been a heart wrenching experience creating holes left in this family that can never be fully healed. This devastating turn of events would be a time that we would normally seek their help and advice; we now seek help from family and friends.
Any and ALL donations will go first, to Dad's end of life costs and any remaining donations will be used for their memorial at Lakeside Yacht Club where they loved to spend free time. Any and all help is greatly appreciated beyond words. We would like to lay them in peace together as quickly as possible and time is of the essence. Thank you.
