We are the Friends of Stafford Lake Bike Park. We support the construction and maintenance of Stafford Lake Bike Park, located in Novato, California - the North Bay's first ever bike park. We are a place for community gathering, a place where mountain-biking enthusiasts both young and old can enjoy riding their bike in a park designed specifically for them.
By having local bike riders actively involved in the design of the bike park, we hope we have eased pressure and conflict of Marin County trails on open space land.
We have been offered a matching grant of $6,000, with a deadline of March 17, 2016. This means that every dollar we raise through GoFundMe will be matched by the Peter E. Haas Jr. Family Fund. The Grant is intended to help us raise monies from the community, so we prefer donations under $500.
