We are way overdue with an update on Adam's road to recovery. But first and foremost, Adam expressed to me how grateful he is for all of your generous donations as the medical bills continue to flow in. He feels so blessed to have the love and support of his dear friends and family.

Adam is getting stronger day by day and has maintained a positive outlook in spite of his new normal lifestyle. His biggest concern is getting back to work. After multiple surgeries, heavy lifting is out of the question for quite some time. He is not yet able to drive because his vision continues to be blurry and cloudy which is common with Crohn's disease. He also now requires cataract surgery in both eyes, but that cannot be performed until the inflammation is reduced, hopefully, by mid summer.

Adam has started routine IV infusions with medication formulated specifically for him to prevent ulcers from developing in his intestines. The 2-3 hour infusions are happening weekly through March. If his body accepts the medications which can have severe side affects, he will require infusions every 8 weeks for life.
