On April 20, 2026, our family experienced a devastating house fire. My niece, nephew, and their mother were all severely injured and suffered burns and smoke inhalation. All three were airlifted to UAB Hospital, where they are currently receiving critical care.

Their home is a total loss, and they are facing a long and difficult road to recovery. In addition to the physical and emotional toll, they will be dealing with overwhelming medical expenses, temporary housing needs, and the loss of everything they owned.
