Bethan's Madagascar Ministry Trip

UPDATE: I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY at your generosity to get me to my target of £1000.. wowowowow, thank you isn't enough!!

I’ve just been in contact with Sitraka and found out that we will need to hire a car for the 2 weeks, which is an extra £350! With just a few days before I leave I have little choice but to humbly ask again to be able to cover this new cost. Praying for God’s miraculous provision!!

Hey friends & family,

As many of you will know, I'm heading over to Madagascar in September thanks to the incredible generosity of East Kilbride Vineyard in Scotland, who are funding my flights!

God put this beautiful country on my heart seemingly randomly about 6 years ago, and I've had many incredible and unexpected 'Mada moments' in those years as I've prayed for the people, tried (and failed) to learn the language, and discovered some incredible faith connections between my home of Wales and Madagascar. I'm really excited to spend some time visiting the country, and hopefully discovering a little bit of why God's been speaking about Madagascar, and how it might fit with my longer term calling to church planting in the Welsh Valleys.

I've just received an itinerary from the wonderful couple who will host me on my trip, and I'm so excited to explore Antananarivo, Vatomandry, Fianarantsoa, and Antsirabe as we travel the country, meet the people, and worship God together. I've even been invited to preach at a few churches, including a country-wide conference in the capital, Antananarivo, at the end of the trip (please pray for this inexperienced preacher ha)! Sitraka and her husband have kindly offered to drive me around and translate for me, and have priced up the fuel, food, jabs, and accommodation for the two week trip, but it's a bit more than I had budgeted for.
