Best Friend In Need-Cancer Sucks!

Hi, my name is Karen and my best friend's name is Robyn. We have been best friends since 1974! She has been dealing with cancer since her early twenties. It started off as Hodgkin's Lymphoma and it has been showing up in different parts of her body ever since. This is her fifth bout after countless rounds of radiation, chemotherapy, and surgeries. As I write this, she is in surgery at OSU James Cancer Hospital, currently five hours into a 6-7 hour surgery to remove two tumors against her spine, near one of her lungs. She will be in the hospital for 4-5 days. She is self-employed and therefore will be out of work during her three to four-month recovery. She has always been too proud to ask for help; therefore, I am asking on her behalf. No amount of donation is too small. Funds are needed for everyday living expenses: utilities, food, mortgage, etc. She will be upset with me when she finds out what I am doing but I know she will be humbled and grateful! BTW...she is the beautiful blonde on right in the photo, circa 1974!
