Berlin Marathon 2025 x 42: Fundraiser DRK & UN Women

Hi All,

Late last year I signed up for the lottery to get the chance to buy a ticket for the Berlin Marathon on 21st September 2025. "I never win anything, so what are the chances?" is what I thought - careful what you wish for is what I have learnt!

Together with my sister, Lisi, I will run 42,195km through Berlin. To make this a bit more than a very long & exhausting run, I've created this fundraiser.

If you can afford to donate €1 for each kilometer you think I can run, I'd be super grateful! (Disclaimer: I did run a marathon before, so 42km is not just a fantasy) My goal would be to receive €42 from at least 42 people! It would be motivating though to see that maybe more than just 42 people think I can do this!

I'd like to donate 50% of the money to the German Red Cross (due to an ion deficiency I am not able to donate blood, so I'll donate money instead) and 50% to UN Women . Also, I'll be requesting a fund match from my employer to double the impact of your gift.
